Art and Gardens from Somerset to Cornwall

April 26 - May 2, 2020
7 days | 6 nights

space limited

This spring visit to England’s southwest peninsula begins in rural Somerset. We spend our first two nights in a sophisticated boutique manor house hotel on the grounds of a secluded estate.

We travel on to Cornwall, distinguished by its rugged coastline and subtropical microclimate. From our comfortable base in a charming fishing village, we spend four days visiting highlighting the extraordinary topography and the art and horticulture it inspired. In St. Ives,  a nexus for British modernist artists in the early 20th century, we enjoy private guided visits at the Tate and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Gardens.
