Join Parrish Art Museum Director, Terrie Sultan on an exclusive five-day tour in Somerset and the Cotswolds highlighting contemporary art, architecture, garden design and farm-to-table cuisine.  

Visit rarely seen private gardens by noted prize-winning contemporary English designers Dan Pearson, Tom Stuart-Smith and Tania Compton.  Each offers a unique modern perspective, transforming historic English landscapes that have captured the imagination for centuries.

We are extremely fortunate to have a curator guided view of Jacob Rothschild's contemporary art collection at Windmill Hill and Flint House, critically acclaimed buildings by architects Stephen Marshall and Skene Katling de la Pena. At The New Arts Centre, the first sculpture park of its kind in the UK, we have a tour and lunch with Lady Bessborough, its founder. Specializing in 20th and 21st century sculpture, the centre represents influential artists including Antony Gormley, Richard Long and the Estate of Barbara Hepworth. 

Hauser & Wirth Somerset, one of today's most innovative international art galleries, welcomes us for an exclusive tour of Rashid Johnson’s solo exhibition. Set in the rural English countryside, the gallery features monumental outdoor sculptures and a celebrated perennial meadow created by Piet Oudolf, the internationally acclaimed designer of New York’s High Line.

The luxurious base for the first two days is Babington House, a manor house hotel on a large Georgian estate with an expansive walled kitchen garden, spa, swimming pool and exquisite locavore meals.  Moving north we spend our last two nights at Dormy House, a comfortable boutique spa hotel with magnificent views of the Cotswolds.
